Forrestview Farms is a new multi-discipline Equine Centre serving Northern Ontario. 

We provide services such as rider training, lessons, horse training, horse assessments/problem solving, boarding and education programs related to the Equine Industry for all levels of experience.

 We practise both Natural Horsemanship Training and C.E.F. "Learn to Ride" regulated modules which are instructed by Certifed Professionals in the equine industry.

We offer our services to this region in hopes of educating equine enthusiasts and enhancing knowledge which has been obtained and is known world wide. 

 We provide all the requirements needed to complete these programs to assist in your education with the Equine Industry.

Our goal is to help our region gain more Certified Instructors, Coaches, educated Riders and Horse Trainers that will help us achieve recognition in our area within the equine industry.

Comming Events and Programs

August 4, 2008 to October 24, 2008

C.E.F. Learn to Ride Cerification Program.

We will be commencing a 12 week program for riders of all ages to participate in the "Learn to Ride " Certification program offered through the Canadian Equestrian Federation.

We will be focusing on both English and Western disciplines, working through the handbooks offered by the C.E.F. In October we will be testing candidates for their rider levels and reccomending participants who qualify for Instructor Programs and Certification.

This is an opportunity for participants who plan to show, teach or participate in C.E.F. or W.H.A.O. programs.

Participants will need to commit 6 hours a week.

Parelli Fun Days 

We will be hosting play dates on June 29th, and July 13th @ the farm. This has been added to our cirriculum to assist participants with practising the Parelli Program at Level 1 and 2. We will be working on our games with obsticles, round pens and Liberty in the ring. Come and join us! Potluck @ 6:00 p.m.

Parelli Level 2 Clinic

Parelli Level 2 Clinic with Certified Instructor Ron Pyne will be held on July 19th and 20th @ Forrestview Farms. This clinic will be an introduction to Level 2 and will include both riding and ground work. Spots are still available for auditing and participating. Contacts Us for info!

Parelli Group Starting November 2008.

We are looking for interested particpants to start a Parelli group through the winter months. We will be meeting every second week and working through levels 1 and 2 in groups. We are planning to hold our gatherings @ Willow Croft in Burk's Falls in their indoor arena. There will be a fee of $20.00 per herd of 2, spectators are free.

Each session will include a brief overview of the segment (on-line, liberty, free style and finesse.) This is a great opportunity for interested parties to work through problems with their horses using a task related chart to make a well rounded horse and rider relationship.
