Weekly Cow Sorting Sanctions are held from Friday May 8th 2009 to August 21st 2009; This year we will have 16
dates for the season. Start time is 6:30 p.m.
This year we are going to take a new approach to this event. We are going to offer sorting 1 on 1 and in teams
of 2.
We are also going to include a "Mystery Game" at every sanction for the gamers.
We will be only offering prize money for the 1 on 1 and "Mystery Game" which will be a $5.00 entry fee.
Team Sorting entry fee $25.00 per rider if registered by April 25th 2009. 2 runs included.
Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams weekly.
Groups of two on horseback try to sort 10 cattle from one herd to another in a numbered sequence within a 90 second
time limit.
Entry fee for competitors is $25.00 per rider; if registered with the "early bird special". Entry fees include
a two run minimum per sanction with your team.
Season Fees for 2008: $400.00 plus G.S.T. $420.00 total.
This fee is expected to be paid in 5 instalments of $84.00 each starting April 25, May 22,
June 19, July 24, August 14, 2009.
To recieve the discount of your season please register by contacting us @ forrestviewfarms@netscape.ca prior to April 25, 2008.
Weekly entrants that decide to “Pay as they Play” will be subjected to a $30.00 entry per week.
Spectators are welcome and admission is free!

On
August 28, 2008 we will hold our last sanction for the season. We will add a $200.00 1st
prize for the team sorting finals and a pot luck will be held after the sanction.
